Who they are: Miike Snow are a Swedish indie-pop band formed in 2007. Karlsson and Winnberg were childhood friends and began playing in studios and working on projects throughout Gothenburg, Sweden. After separating to pursue different bands, they reunited in 2000 and in 2004 they met their 3rd band member while working on Britney Spears' album.

While working under the moniker Bloodshy & Avant, they started to rise in popularity writing songs for Kylie Minogue, Madonna,  and even winning a Grammy for Britney Spears' song "Toxic".

Why we love them: If you have not seen Miike Snow live yet, you are missing out! We saw them at the 2010 Austin City Limits, and they have an energy that got the crowd jumping. From the moment they walked on stage, you could tell that these guys knew what they were doing. They definitely know how to entertain a crowd. Miike Snow are definitely only starting to rise in popularity. We believe they found a perfect balance between indie and pop. And we are hoping that they keep that balance (and not go too pop once they start getting extremely popular!)
