Hey guys, today's Music Monday Special is really really special because Dave Matthews Band is performing LIVE at the Beacon Theatre (via Hulu). So we thought that we would just have a brief intro of this band so you could get back to watching them live (above).

Band Members: Dave Matthews (lead vocals/songwriter/guitar), Carter Beauford (drum/percussion), Stefan Lessard (bass), Boyd Tinsley (violin/mandolin/backing vocals), Jeff Coffin (saxophone).

Who they are: Dave Matthews Band is a multi-Grammy Award winning band that sell-out stages all over the world. And they're going to be at this year's ACL Fest! Their style is a cross between jazz, funk, and much much more. This is a band that wasn't built up or popularized by producers, this band's reputation is what got them to the top, even though Boiled peanuts were the ceremonious gift .
